Camp Create
Day camp designed to allow children to immerse themselves into a creative environment including visual arts, music, theater, and creative movement.  Activities include games, art projects, free play, and walking field trips around downtown!
Date & Time:  July 18 – 22 daily from 9am – 1pm with the ‘Camp Create Showcase’ taking place from 12-1pm on Friday, July 22.
Location:  The camp will be held in the ‘Thirsty Hippo Music Hall’ at 309 McLeod St.

Eagles Play Kids Day Camp! 2016
Participants will participate in fun recreational activities, arts and crafts, swimming, nutritional counseling, field trips to favorite Southern Miss facilities and more!
Dates: Monday, June 6 - Friday, June 10
Times: 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. (Drop-Off) - 12:15 p.m. - 1 p.m. (Pick-Up)
Location: The Payne Center at The University of Southern Mississippi. Campers can be dropped off at M.K. Turk Circle, by Reed Green Colliseum.
Price: $60/camper (scholarships available based on financial need)
Age Groups: Exiting Kindergarten-2nd Grade: Seymours 3rd Grade-5th Grade: Golden Eagles 6th Grade-8th Grade: Bald Eagles

Dance Summer Camp 2016
University of Southern Mississippi

I Heart Dance Company proudly offers summer camp for elementary through High school girls. During camp the girls will participate in a full week of dance classes. (Ballet, Jazz, Majorette & Hip Hop) Dancers participate in different genres of dance classes each day. Girls will also participate in Arts & Craft and a Summer Dance Recital!!!

**Summer Tennis Camp**Christer runs a Summer Tennis Camp during June & July. Summer Camp is for ages 4-14. The camp includes tennis instruction and swim breaks! You may choose to attend from one day to all summer! Please contact the club if you have any questions.



The Summer Gifted Studies Program 2016
June 19-24, 2016
Grades 4-8
One-week residential program, designed for intellectually gifted students in grades 4-9 with intelligence quotients of 121 or above on an individually administered test or who score in the 91st percentile or above at the national level on an achievement test. The program enhances the cognitive abilities of gifted students through planned enrichment/acceleration activities.

The Leadership Studies Program 2016

The Leadership Studies Program, a one-week residential program, is designed for students in grades
6 through 11, who have a desire to develop and enhance their leadership abilities.

Summer Program for Academically Talented Youth 2016

The University of Southern Mississippi, through a cooperative effort with the Duke University Talent Identification Program, is pleased to offer the three week residential Summer Program for Academically Talented Youth, designed for very bright students who are currently enrolled in grades 7, 8, 9 and 10.

The Day Program for Young Gifted 2016

Students will explore headwater streams, including Lake Thoreau, Black Creek, Leaf River, and the Pascagoula River itself as it flows into the Gulf of Mexico. We'll spend several days traveling to unique habitats, interact with some of the flora and fauna that rely on it, and explore beautiful habitats. Located at The Lake Thoreau Environmental Center.

Nature Camp:  Living in the Longleaf 
July 25 - 29
Rising 3rd - 6th Grade Students

Monday-Friday Day Program; 8:00 - 5:00
Focuses on one of the most endangered habitats in the United States, the Longleaf Pine Savanna. Students will learn through hands-on activities immersed in some of the oldest Longleaf stands in the state. Each day, we will learn about the habitats surround south Mississippi and compare these beautiful places to other habitats around the world. Located at The Lake Thoreau Environmental Center.

ASAP Summer Bridge Camps
K-4 th grade students will participate in our Summer Bridge program where students will review previous skills learned and be introduced to skills for the upcoming year. The Summer Bridge program is guaranteed to be exciting with weekly field trips, health, and fitness as well as hands on art activities and science experiments.

Mega Sports Camp at Parkway Heights United Methodist Church
Mega Sports Camp Vacation Bible School  June 27-30.
